Job description
Supply Chain Analyst - 6 month contract - Samlesbury - £26.42ph UMB or £20.32ph PAYE (Inside IR35)
The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs). Please note, the rate paid by the Umbrella will be less, as will a Limited Deemed rate or Agency PAYE rate. Please get in touch to discuss the rates via these different payment vehicles.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Optimisation Data Analyst to join the team in Supply Chain. You will use various methods to transform raw data into useful data. For example, you'll create reports and conduct statistical analysis and trends.
- Analyse and organize raw data

Evaluate business needs and objectives

Create/support the producing of regular reports for the Logistics Function

Combine raw information from different sources

Identify opportunities for data acquisition

Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability for the Logistic Functions
Essential Skills
-
MS Excel expert/advanced level, with an ability to create pivots/macro's

An understanding of IT systems and the principles and approaches that influence their performance of the Supply Chain

Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues that do not have routine solutions

Proven experience within a Supply Chain/Logistics or Manufacturing Environment
