Working within the Renewable Energy sector we provide State of the art technology to various clients in the UK and overseas. These include a digital platform for the UK National Grid, A Virtual Power Plant in North America and a first of it's kind home hub currently undergoing trials in Autralia.
We have also recently partnered with an EV business located in California.

Job Description Summary
We're looking to recruit and experienced Quality Manager to ensure we have the right infrastructure for the next stages of our ambitions and growth plans.

The Quality Manager will be responsible for driving a culture of quality
across the organisation and support across a number of projects and business functions.

The Quality Manager will be tasked to deliver, maintain and be responsible for the Quality Management System (QMS) and maintain accreditation to ISO9001 standards. The role will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

Key responsibilities
- Produce a strategy for quality management and assurance that supports the ongoing scaling of
the business project streams
- Develop and implement product quality assurance policies and procedures
- Responsible for creating and maintaining the company's quality standards, as well as ensuring
that these standards are followed throughout the organisation
- Responsible for ensuring all products meet the company's and customer's quality standards
before they are released
- Establish best practice business processes consistent with a QMS and relevant (including ISOs)
standards
- Work closely with other teams, such as product development and customer support, to ensure
quality is a top priority throughout the organisation
- Use continuous improvement principles to increase efficiency of processes though a regular
review process
- Regularly review data quality and integrity within processes to ensure accurate reporting
- Review and ensure accountability where relevant to ensure consistent adherence to quality and
compliance, through a structured audit programme where appropriate
- Lead supplier onboarding and audits with the assistance of the wider team
- Have a say in the creation of a clear and robust health & safety policy

Key duties
- Own and deliver the business' quality strategy
- Act as the quality champion for the business, ensuring that our quality standards are welldefined,
fit-for-purpose, well understood and applied across all business functions
- Support project / product design reviews, acting as an independent reviewer and ensuring
adherence to business processes through reviews
- Responsible for conducting audits and assessments to ensure that the company's quality
standards are being met, and make recommendations for improvements where appropriate
- Co-ordinating documentation sets to ensure information is collated and consistent across
departments
- Support the gathering and management of technical documentation
- Ensuring, and report against, business process is followed in line with best practice and our
quality management system, and provide related reports assuring the quality of Amp X products
to internal stakeholders and customers
- Perform other reasonable tasks in line with business requirements

Key experience
- Defining and maintaining requirements in order to achieve quality certifications
- Lead auditor for ISO 9001:2015 with proven auditing experience
- Exposure to manufacturing and software disciplines
- Supply chain auditing and onboarding
- Knowledge of international quality standards
- Experience with electronic document management systems
- Exposure to continuous improvement / lean / Six Sigma environments
