Direct2Customer is a key growth area for Samsung and as a Business Analyst you will join the PMO team here at Samsung Electronics UK where you will have a direct impact on the project roadmap to deliver strategic objectives.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
As a Business Analyst you will be a key player in the project team to deliver the projects roadmap, ensuring all initiatives are fully aligned with and support the business strategy. Utilise deep understanding of business and system process to advise on prioritization, delivery phasing, approach and benefits.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Business Analyst role in the PMO team is primarily focused on the relationship between our internal customers, Samsung HQ and relevant third parties, ensuring user requirements are understood and clearly documented. Reporting to the Head of Change Management, the Business Analyst will work closely with the Project Managers and the Support teams to deliver key projects prioritised on the roadmap, and will be involved in various different work streams. You should be experienced and well versed in working across projects and have the ability to manage a number of projects concurrently. You should have gained broad project experience including running workshops, gathering user requirements, looking at AS-IS and TO-BE scenarios, drawing process maps and have the willingness to expand on any Project Management experience you may have.
Main Responsibilities:
? Build and maintain effective relationships with the internal customers, HQ teams and third parties.
? Support the Project Managers through the end to end life cycle of projects
? Deliver business requirements, business process design and functional design activities
? Translate business requirements into clear functional and business specifications
? Document project requirements through the writing of user stories supported by explicit acceptance criteria
? Create any relevant as-is and to-be process flows/swim lane diagrams for projects
? Create and execute user acceptance test scripts
? Alongside the project team, review and sign-off solution designs presented by the systems integrator
? Work with others in the PMO team to improve project delivery techniques and project documentation
EXPERIENCE:
? A high level of business intelligence and strong analytical skills.
? 2-5 years' experience in a business analysis experience role
? In-depth experience with End to End project delivery
? In-depth experience with ERP or Hybris back end
? In-depth experience with some projects using API
? Experience as Team leader (Leadership
? Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
? An understanding of working across the full project lifecycle
? An ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
? Experience of software development tools, such as Jira and Confluence
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
? Educated to degree level, or equivalent.
? Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and third party suppliers
? Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills - customer driven
? Ability to manage and prioritise workload comprised of multiple projects
? Ability to translate business requirements into operational requirements for developers
? Able to work strongly as part of a team or individually
? Drive, enthusiasm and passion for Digital and eCommerce
