Job description

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Financial Accountant with all aspects of the month end process.
• Following policy, procedures, and processes, ensuring controls are followed and high levels of accuracy are delivered.
• Taking ownership of queries and driving through resolution of issues.
• Working with the Finance Assistant to ensure the sales and purchase ledger are maintained along with cashbook entries and bank reconciliations.
• Overhead cost analysis against budget.
• Employee expense process, including company credit cards and reimbursing expenses in line with company policy.
• Assisting with the VAT return.
• Assisting with the annual audit.
• Any other duties required as part of the finance team.

Experience needed:

• Must be AAT fully qualified.
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• High commercial and business awareness
• Excellent with Microsoft Excel

Desirable:

• IFS knowledge desirable but not essential
