Job description
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the PNT Lead as a technical expert, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing mission system solution options, technologies and philosophies and documenting and presenting the various trade-offs in cost, capability and maturity to inform concept selection and subsequent intial design activities. This includes:
* Identifying Mission System requirements for the PNT System
* Work alongside Procurement, acting as the PNT Supplier Manager
* Collaborate with suppliers, partners and technology providers to determine candidate solutions
* Assist in defining models of the solutions and their different emergent properties
* Provide onsite PNT domain knowledge, acting as an PNT SME
* Presenting an objective assessment of the merits of different PNT solutions
* Ability to work with external partners and customers
Skills:
Some experience of working in an agile environment
DV Security clearance
A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience
Experience/knowledge of the Product Management lifecycle, including Design and development of EW Systems. A basic knowledge of the Agile process is desirable.
Presentation Skills
Systems engineering methods and tools (e.g. UML/SysML, MoDAF, MOOD, Matlab)
