Facilities & Infrastructure Engineer - 12 - month contract - Frimley - £30.86 UMB p/h or £23.39 PAYE p/h (Inside IR35)

The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e., the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs). Please note, the rate paid by the Umbrella will be less, as will a Limited Deemed rate or Agency PAYE rate. Please get in touch to discuss the rates via these different payment vehicles.

SC + ITAR

This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working on-site. You will need to obtain a BPSS check as part of this process. You must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC. In addition, this role involves direct and/or indirect access to ITAR Material which means there are restrictions on dual nationals. The Role:

The Facilities & Infrastructure Engineer (Senior Project Professional) is a vital role within Business Operations, responsible for the technical input into the delivery of facilities and infrastructure projects along with site services and facilities that enables the projects and functions to deliver.


Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical Facilities and Infrastructure services maintenance management.
  • Support Facilities and Infrastructure Development Lead with Space Management
  • Ensure Integrated Combat Systems Facilities refurbishment, design/re-design and renovation projects are compliant from a technical perspective and lead these activities.
  • Support the review and development of SHE Site Premises Event plans.
  • Support the Integrated Combat Systems Business in a technical capacity directly with the Business Operations Team and with Incident and Emergency Management
  • Support to the Facilities and Infrastructure Development Lead with Integrated Combat Systems Facilities refurbishment, redesign and renovation projects from a technical perspective.
  • Support LRQA audits, contractor spot-checks, and SHE Site Premises Event plans.
  • Assist with maintenance reviews, providing appropriate technical advice as required.
  • Provide advice for Service Level Agreements
  • Responsible for developing technical solutions and guidance to support the Business Operations Team.
  • Support Business Operations requirements through emergencies and crisis situations (COVID/Return to Scale)

Skills and Qualifications:

  • IEE Regs 18th Edition and/or equivalent electrical qualification(s)
  • Facilities Mechanical qualification(s)
  • Risk Management qualification (IOSH)
  • ACOP L8 (Legionella awareness) training
  • Have an advanced knowledge of technical building management systems.

  • Working at Height Authorised Person
  • Electrical Authorised Person
  • Confined Space Authorised Person
