Environmental Engineer
Key skills/knowledge and experience

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Environmental engineering management experience in large scale multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects (+5 years)
• Member of a professional engineering body (IRSE, ICE, PWay or similar)
• Knowledge and experience of construction management and assurance
• Significant experience of Common Safety Method process and deliverables
• Able to demonstrate comprehensive CDM knowledge and experience on engineering projects

Role Description

• The supplier shall support the Route Infrastructure engineer to:
  • Integrate environmental engineering requirements into Route workbanks
  • Provide environmental engineering solutions to Route engineering projects
  • Act as technical Liaison with major projects in the route on all aspects related to environmental design and construction
  • Provide environmental engineering leadership to Route Engineers, maintenance teams and project managers
  • Provide assurance that delivery by the supply chain is in line with Network Rail standards
