Job description

The role is working on a large infrastructure project and gives the candidate the opportunity to join a great team delivering on one of the UK's major projects. As the Bonding CRE you will be expected to:

• Co-ordinate bonding related engineering activities for allocated projects to facilitate conformance to the contract specification and delivery to programme timescales
• Lead and manage all bonding engineering activities for the team
• Co-operate with the other engineering teams and disciplines
• Plan and implement bonding engineering activities
• Attend routine engineering meetings / functions (e.g. IDC's, IDR's and other design interfaces) and generally to ensure close liaison with the client assurance and design teams
• Support the CEM in the discharge of their role duties including Construction Design Management (CDM) compliance and the clients Common Safety Method Risk Assessment (CSM-RA) and Hazard Log

To be considered for this opportunity candidates must be able to:

• Have the ability to read and understand bonding plans and signalling layouts
• Show good general Rail Electrification engineering knowledge and experience
• Have previous Rail Electrification construction experience on large projects.
• Be computer literate

Qualifications and desirable skills for this position include:

• Previous CRE experience
• IOSH safety qualification (or equivalent)
• Current PTS
• Current OLEC 1
• Hold or previously have held OLEC 3
• UK Driving License
