Overview:
Reporting to the Digital Engineering Lead, this is a creative and stimulating role offering excellent development opportunities and the chance to work alongside our highly skilled technical team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to develop and maintain APNTs world class Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Anti-Jam product portfolio and roadmap. This is a complex and challenging role that will be highly rewarding, with extensive communication and interfacing requirements with key stakeholders.
Essential Skills:
- Honours degree in Electronics or a related discipline
- Knowledge of Xilinx FPGAs, Experience of writing RTL code for FPGA and verification of FPGA using VHDL.
- Use of Xilinx Vivado tools and Mentor Graphics/Siemens Modelsim for simulation
- Broad Electronics knowledge
- Good and demonstrable problem-solving skills
- Innovative thinker with self-motivation
- Good communicator able to work with others
- Eligible for or current holder of SC security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experienced in MATLAB and Simulink for Model-Based Design (MBD).
- Keen interest in electronic design
- Experience with embedded microprocessor cores (i.e. Xilinx Zynq) and working with microprocessor devices
- Knowledge of Schematic Capture Tools
- Experienced in engineering/software development
- Practical experience in electronics design or test
- Experience of high speed digital interfaces, i.e. LVDS, JESD-204B, DDR
