Tree Surveyor - Ash dieback Disease
Introduction
My client based in the South West region is looking for two Tree Surveyor's focused on the Ash dieback disease. This is an original 3 month contract with a view to possible extension.
IR35 status:
- This role is INSIDE IR35
Job Description
- To undertake a survey of ash trees to determine to what extent (if any) they are displaying the signs of Ash Dieback Disease.
- To plot trees on GIS maps of both individual trees and woodland areas
- For woodland fringe areas (fall zone), tag the tree with a tree tag number.
- To record the survey on a tablet PC (provided by BCC) into the CONFIRM database so that the health condition of the tree can be compared in the following year(s). Take a photo of the tree using the tablet PC as part of the survey

Working conditions / Environment:
- Required mainly on site, completing surveys in and around the Bristol area.
Working hours:
- 37 Hours Per Week
- Monday to Friday
Pay rates:
- Flexible dependant on experience.
- Weekly pay
