Job description

Ideal Candidate Background:

• Sales co-ordinator/ Product manager/ Project management
• Able to build strong relations with sales/engineering/ project managers, can apply pressure, manage people (coordinate to get what you need for the tender).
• Ideally from within the oil/gas/power generation or product engineering sector.

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to work with all recognised IT systems and internet/intranet applications
• Highly computer literate with the ability to maintain accurate records
• Ability to prioritise own workload and that of tender team where appropriate.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of Estimating principles, techniques, practices and different types of cost estimates
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings/ specifications and customer requirements
• Commercially aware with a fair understanding of contractual conditions
