Job description

Telemetry Experience required:
Compile comprehensive site-specific Telemetry i/o schedules, RTU code/configuration and Telemetry mimics from Clients outline requirements and manage approvals process
Actively review and rectify faults and problems raised in the job control system.
Carry out site surveys to define Telemetry solutions to meet client's requirement
Assist in the development of the SCADA & Telemetry systems and services to meet the needs of the business as it changes
Provide technical advice and guidance on SCADA & telemetry issues to staff in other departments
Develop, amend, review and maintain documentation on the corporate communication infrastructure in line with IS requirements and ensure it is made available to other IS staff
Share ideas to promote common approaches to strategy, technology, process, and delivery with other engineers and team leaders in IS
Provide resident expertise in SCADA & telemetry systems and technology
Liaison with other contractors involved in Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls & Telemetry installation Helping to ensure that the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's information is adequately protected in keeping with the IS Security Policy and Procedures.
About the role:
You'll be working on the development of the SCADA & Telemetry systems and services to meet the needs of the business as it changes, along with providing technical advice and guidance on SCADA & telemetry issues to colleagues in other departments. We're looking for you to develop, amend, review, and maintain documentation on the corporate communication infrastructure
You can expect to undertake project work liaising with internal and external stakeholders, identify training courses to continually develop and maintain an understanding of the appropriate equipment and emerging technology.
Duties include supporting essential operational equipment, you will be expected to form part of an out of hours standby rota providing 24/7 support to the business.
