One of our Water Clients are currently seeking a Senior Site Engineer and Site Engineers who will be critical to the successful delivery of the Strategic Pipeline Alliance.

Job description

Key responsibilities:
  • Oversee quality control and assist in the implementation of SPA's safety, health, environmental and quality performance.
  • Assist the QS with quantities and project progress
  • Support the Site Agent with day to day running of the site.
  • Act under the Site Manager as a supervisor on site for specialist subcontractors.
  • Transfer digital and paper data/drawings onto site, and back into digital models enabling accurate and auditable record keeping

We are looking for an engaged and passionate person who has experience of being part of large scale infrastructure programmes of works, ideally within the water sector, who can take a lead in ensuring our product is right first time. You should have a proactive approach to resolving unexpected technical difficulties, with a can-do attitude and enthusiasm to innovate and get the job done.
  • Experienced Site Manager, able to lead by example
  • Civil Engineering background in the Construction / Water Industry
  • Experience of working in Design & Build
  • Thorough understanding of safety, environmental and quality management processes
  • Thorough understanding of commercial, contractual and procurement processes
  • NEC / JCT awareness
  • Good knowledge of temporary works
  • Experience of both incident and near miss reporting
  • Full clean UK driving licence
