Job description

Job summary: Supporting the business with all aspects of technical product applications including local application design and internal and external technical advice.

Main responsibilities: Work with the sales and Production teams to understand local application requirements and utilize technical knowledge to provide solutions. Work closely with Production and other internal departments to train and develop knowledge of local application changes. Work to find quick solutions to any applications problems and correct within agreed timescales. Work with customers and sales to customize, modify or upgrade local product applications to suit customers needs. Assist with the creation and internal and external training of technical product processes. Manage local application projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery of solutions to customers and internal training to Production

Skill requirements Mechanical design experience and technical skills Sufficient experience with Catia Experience of working with PLM systems Experience of pressings and fabrication Project management and time management skill Problem solving and organizational skills Customer facing communication experience

Working Hours - Monday - Thursday (8.00am - 5.00pm) Friday (8.00am - 12.00pm) Location - Round Spinney, Northampton (Office based) Pension - 4% employer contribution Annual Leave - 25 plus bank holidays
