Job description
Our design and build construction client is seeking 2 Tunnelling Engineers to be based in the UK working across a range of multidisciplinary projects.
The candidate will need to be flexible as the role will include travel across the UK and Ireland with the potential for travel to Canada.
Responsibilities
- Logistics and planning of tunnelling projects, working with designers to develop tunnel projects / alignments
- Managing the day-to-day running of tunnelling (pipe-jacking) sites (costs, ordering of materials, co-ordination of deliveries, site staffing, client reporting, ordering concrete, QA checks, assisting health and safety advisors on site, etc).
Our client is willing to train a suitable candidate on the specifics of pipe-jacking sites if they are keen and have suitable site engineer experience from other civil projects.
