Matchtech are looking to source a PTS Rail section engineer on a contract basis in the north west. The role is a long term position and has been deemed inside IR35.

Job description

This role offers the opportunity to join a large infrastructure project and join an excellent civils team driven to deliver the project on time and budget. As the section engineer you will:
* Use experience and expertise to mentor and advise more junior engineers
* Work closely with construction team and ensure all plans and designs are relayed to site teams
* Monitor site works and ensure all site paperwork is up to date
* Prepare risk assessments and method statements as required
* Ensure ITP's are completed
* Work closely to ensure all works are carried out as per all H&S requirements and protocols

As the section engineer you will need to demonstrate:
* Previous engineering experience on large rail projects
* Ideally hold a degree or HND in civil engineering or equivalent
* Have a valid PTS
* Have a SSSTS
