Job Title: Business Test Manager

Purpose of the role
What does a Business Test Manager do?
This role is responsible for managing the test team to define, manage and successfully complete testing of our Digital Commerce applications and systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the test team to improve white box testing methods, tools and processes.
- Take part in product planning and development.
- Lead the co-ordination of testers from both business and customer to assure user acceptance.
- Manage and implement a successful test project plan with reports and metrics that would provide a go/no go statement
- Lead regular integration testing status meetings with testing team
- Lead execution of planned test cases, ensuring that all test results are correctly recorded against the system
- Triage and resolve test errors
- Develop detailed work plans for engagements, status tracking and reporting, including planned vs actual against the test plan
- Coordinate all testing roles and responsibilities within teams
- Responsible for all access to test tools and configuration management activities
What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?
- Capability as a Test Manager (minimum 5+ years)
- Proven ability to manage a team (minimum 3+ years)
- Experience in test planning and strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage conflicting requests and priorities, as well as setting and delivering to realistic deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills with proven ability to manage competing priorities and a challenging workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to give and receive information clearly and concisely and encourage open dialogue by listening and engaging to create ownership and commitment.
- Ability to understand structures and business priorities and build credibility quickly.
- Resilient, solution-focused and analytical with ability to see the wider context in which you are working.
- Must be a team player with strong collaboration skills and a demonstrated ability to lead effectively across functions.
How you'll work
Hybrid working; a blend of home and office working 2/3 days in the office and 2/3 days at home.
