CNC Machinist (Miller) required for a well-established company that is continually growing due to its continuing expansion. This is a great opportunity to join a growing business that manufactures precision castings including the automotive, military, transport sectors and bespoke high end projects.
The chosen candidate will be experienced with working on a variety of customer projects, be able to run high precision components such as gearbox machining in low volume batches and inspect own work.
The successful CNC Machinist will have a strong track record as a CNC miller (any experience with Mazak, Fanuc). Be competent with geometric tolerances and have a methodical method of working, including problem solving.
39 hour week Monday to Friday, plus regular overtime available in this role.
For the first 10 hours this is paid at time and a third, thereafter paid at a time a half rate.
The Role:
* Vertical Milling role
* When required Editing CNC Programs for the effective machining of components
* Entering data into Routing sheets and Use Company based system.
* Setting and operating CNC machining centres
* Ensure production is carried out correctly for product conformity.
The successful CNC Machinist must have:
Experienced background in engineering CNC Machining
Engineering HNC level 3 desirable or the equivalent
Proven track record essential
Being able to problem solve
Work individually and as part of a team
