Job description

We are currently on the search for an Estimator with rail background (Rail Comms, M&E, Signalling) to join one of our long-standing clients working on projects based in North London.

You will be working for a long-established successful Comms M&E, Signalling and Signalling contractor within the rail sector. The company's success and reputation as a contractor of choice has been founded on some of the UK's largest and high-profile railway engineering and rail construction projects.

As an Estimator you will be:

• Estimating for numerous rail lineside civils projects - specialising in Mechanical and Electrical, or Telecoms and Signalling sectors.
• Engaging pre-tender surveys on rail and other infrastructure projects.
• Liaising with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Understanding of associated HSEQ risks and procedures.
• Preferably, you will have previous exposure working on Candy Estimating software, although other similar systems will be considered.
