Job description
Are you a UK CAA Licensed B1 Engineer and looking for your next challenge? If so, we are currently supporting our client (a very well known airline) with recruiting A320 type rated B1 Licensed Engineers on a permanent basis at Gatwick airport.
B1 Licensed Engineer
The B1 Licensed Engineer will carry out all scheduled tasks as assigned by the Duty Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor in accordance with the approved maintenance documentation. Able to demonstrate applicable technical knowledge of aircraft with hand skills required to carry out tasks assigned.
Competent in the use of aircraft maintenance documentation in addition to computer-based reporting and recording systems. Supervision of small teams as required by the operation and work requirement.
What you need to do the role:
- You must hold UK Part 66 B1 License and with an A320 (CFM56, V2500 or Leap1A) type rating and be able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of applicable airworthiness legislation.
- Ideally a minimum of 3 years operational experience in a line maintenance environment. Proven ability to communicate issues to management as well as having a high degree of customer focus - both internal and external.

Location & Hours of Work:
This full-time role will be based in Gatwick working either DDNN 12 hour shifts or NNNN 10.75-hour shifts. Shift pattern will 4x4 with occasional travel requirements.
