Job description

Our client is seeking an Applications Engineer who will be focused on taking and evaluating customer technical enquiries and engineering specifications received for the replacement of flare tips, flare ignition systems and associated equipment. They will then preparing competitive technical and commercial proposals that fulfil the scope of supply and meets the customer operational requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have already had some experience working within a similar applications or engineering environment preparing multidisciplinary proposals with both technical and commercial content.

Some knowledge of fired combustion equipment or process knowledge would be considered an advantage in this role. The role will largely be office based but there will most certainly be a requirement to travel on behalf of the company meeting customers for technical / commercial discussions and negotiations mainly within the EMEAR region.
