Job description

Matchtech are looking for a PTS Site Manager/PC Rep to work on a contract basis in the Derby area for an initial 6 month period. The role has been deemed outside IR35. The company is a well established railway contractor. As the site manager you will be expected to:

* Manage all site activities and ensure they are progressing in line with the programme of works.
* Motivate the site teams to deliver each day
* Ensure all health and safety procedures are in place and adhered to
* Gather all site information and report progress back to management team
* Ensure welfare is in place and maintained
* Carry out site audits of sub-contractors
* Oversee traffic management

To be considered for this role the ideal candidate will have:

* Previous experience of working on large rail infrastructure projects
* Have a good understanding of CDM Regulations
* Have a good understanding of Principal Contractor responsibilities
* Have a current PTS card
* Hold SMSTS certification
* Have a valid UK driving license
