Our Water sector consultancy client is seeking a Senior Wastewater/Clean Water Modeller to join them in a hybrid working arrangement (Exeter/Bradford offices) or remotely depending on experience.

The role

The successful candidate will work alongside Framework Managers, Project Managers and Project Technical Leads to provide technical expertise and ensure that projects are delivered to cost, schedule, technical and quality standards to meet both client and Aqua expectations.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Wastewater/Clean Water Modeller will provide guidance, training, and promote staff development within the discipline.
• You will assist with bids and the preparation of cost estimates within project frameworks.
• The role will involve taking part in the planning, programming, and coordinating of projects while ensuring technical governance and best practices are upheld.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills through report writing, developing and delivering presentations (external and internal), and making contacts in the industry
• The successful candidate will have experience in the management of staff and staff development as well as the ability to integrate well into a team and provide technical leadership to other modelling staff as a leader in a similar environment with an excellent client service focus.

Skills/qualifications/experience

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or other relevant subject
• Member of an industry relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM.
• Previous experience leading projects in an urban drainage environment.
• Technical experience covering a wide range of modelling activities and a full working knowledge of Infoworks ICM.
