Job description
As the Quality Supplier Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of their products by managing the Supplier Quality team and overseeing internal quality processes. You will be responsible for a range of critical tasks that contribute to maintaining high standards and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Management and development of the Supplier Quality team/Quality Technicians.
- Interact with Manufacturing and Quality and supplier personnel to review supplier related quality issues.
- Resolve Supplier Quality concerns on current production parts.
- Report defective materials to supply base.
- Organise separation and containment of supplier suspect stock.
- Lead the supplier through the problem-solving process, assuring root causes are identified and permanent corrective actions are implemented.
- Verification of supplier corrective actions.
- With support from the SDE Team, arrange audits of suppliers in relation to quality concerns.
- Prepare and present supplier concerns for internal and external reviews.
- Preparation and presentation of reports as required by Management in relation to supplier activities.
- Monthly reporting for supplier performance reporting (GSPS) (QCDDMSES).
- Follow Supplier PPAP timing for current production parts engineering changes.
- Review and approval of supplier PPAPs for current production part engineering changes.
- Ensure that you comply and adopt the CANDO(5S) programme regarding the organisation of your work environment.
- Validate and manage annual changes to supplier parts, adhering to established timelines.
- Facilitate continuous improvement projects with cross-functional teams, promoting operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Business/Quality/Engineering related discipline
Certified Quality Engineer - desirable
