About our client: We are a prestigious F1 Team known for our innovation, precision, and pursuit of excellence. As a key player in the competitive world of Formula 1 racing, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated CNC Turner to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Responsibilities: As a CNC Turner with our F1 Team, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Programming, setting up, and operating Mazak Q250 and Integrex CNC machines to manufacture precision components for our race cars.
- Creating and optimizing CNC programs using industry-standard software, ensuring the highest quality output and adherence to tight tolerances.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand machining requirements.
- Collaborating with engineering and design teams to provide input on manufacturability and machining feasibility during the design phase.
- Conducting routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure continuous production and minimal downtime.
- Monitoring and inspecting finished products to verify conformance to specifications and make necessary adjustments as needed.
- Adhering to strict safety protocols and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Documenting machining processes, adjustments, and any issues encountered during production.
Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner, preferably within a motorsport or high-precision manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in programming, setting up, and operating Mazak Q250 and Integrex CNC machines.
- Strong understanding of G-code programming and the ability to create and modify CNC programs.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work with precision to achieve tight tolerances and high-quality results.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and address issues that may arise during machining processes.
- Prior experience in conducting routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
