Cyber Security Engineer
12m Contract | Aberdeen | Hybrid

Our client, an Engineering business specialising in Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy, is looking for a Cyber Security specialist (IT/Engineering) to support on projects in Norway.

Skills & Requirements

• Provide assurance in terms of network and project flow of information within the project
• IT certifications in the field would be required - CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC
• Norwegian (or North Sea offshore) experience would be preferable (but not essential)
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, endpoint protection, and encryption.
• Knowledge of network protocols, network architecture, and cloud computing security best practices.
• Proven experience in Cyber Security Engineering
• Strong understanding of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors
• Strong understanding of endpoint and networking equipment hardening
