You will work in a multi-disciplined team designing, developing, and testing bespoke secure, high-speed storage solutions for securing Data at Rest. In this role, you will participate in all aspects of challenging development programs including requirements elicitation, architecture, design, implementation, and test of products encompassing hardware, software, FPGA and mechanics.
You will own the technical delivery of the solution from requirements through development and into production, provide technical support for bid proposals, and you will be in the lead to elicit and refine system requirements and work with the team to ensure appropriate validation of those requirements.
Experience needed:
- Degree 2.1(Hons) or higher in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrable experience of the systems engineering lifecycle, including. requirements management, system design process (including system and sub-system specification) and product validation and verification.
- Good understanding and appreciation of all design disciplines.
- Ability to spot areas of concern, investigate and drive to a solution - ask the right questions.
- Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation.
- Ability to demonstrate and apply system-level thinking.
Desirable:
- Experience in the Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environment would be advantageous.
- Use of DOORS.
- System design languages (e.g. UML, SysML), and techniques (e.g. use case analysis, trade studies).
- Producing estimates for bid activities.
- Design for Security principles.
- Cryptographic standards and algorithms.
Important: Due to the nature of the role, all candidates will need to be prepared to undertake DV clearance and therefore as a minimum be living in the UK 10 years.
Site Location: All applicants must be located locally, or able to relocate to the client site based in the Hampshire area (Relocation assistance available *T&C's apply)
