JOB DESCRIPTION
The IT Infrastructure Analyst role is to provide technical support across a broad range of technologies. Working alongside internal IT staff, the IT service desk and third-party support providers.
Key accountabilities (note we are looking for multiple roles so not all areas will be applicable for every candidate):
- Maintaining technical documentation. Create or maintain related documentation of the existing and planned environment(s).
- Working with suppliers and contractors on a range of technical solutions.
- Application packaging across both our physical (SCCM) and virtual (VMWare Horizion) environments as required.
- Experience making effective decisions through the analysis of information and executing them.
- Experience in business transformations and IT implementations (e.g. data migration and IT cutover activities).
- Knowledge of the management, build and deploy process for virtual and physical servers (VMware).
- Manage Active Directory, EPO, management and client deployment.
- Server and workstation image management using SCCM.
- Have familiarity with MS SQL server, windows clustering, domain controller setup, and group policy.
- Building workstations, laptops, VDIs, and building specified disk builds.
- Managing the backup and recovery of VDI Gold Images, Virtual Servers or file data.
- Support with legacy hardware / specialist hardware and specialist rig equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to quickly develop effective working relationships
