Job description

Senior traffic engineer
The correct candidate will be looking after cycling schemes and bus priority routes.
The council currently has a large new cycling scheme out for consultation and will also be responsible for giving imput and support for general traffic schemes - low traffic neighbourhoods, school streets, 20mph zones, etc.
Will be doing full projects - Feasibility, Consultation, detailed design, implementation. This means the successful candidate will need to be available for site visits where needed. Have their own car is desirable but not essential.
