  • Support project teams to calculate carbon emissions on projects, analyse them and see opportunities
  • Support design and delivery teams to maximise the Six Capitals benefits of their projects.
  • Attend project meetings to ensure that Carbon & Sustainability has a 'voice at the table'.
  • Undertake detailed lifecycle and whole life carbon assessments of projects and products to ensure any trade-offs are fully understood.

  • An understanding of the wider corporate Net Zero landscape would be an advantage.
  • You will use your excellent understanding of key concepts and practices in carbon reduction to aid you to become the recognised 'go to' person for other Alliance Teams on carbon and sustainability issues.
  • By working with project teams, you will upskill them and yourself to ensure that carbon and sustainability issues are fully considered throughout the project lifecycle.
  • You have a passion for carbon reduction, sustainability and challenging the norm, and have excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills. You are a self-starter, resilient, adaptable and able to overcome blockers.
