Are you an experienced Installation Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in the railway industry? If you have a background in station systems, including CCTV, PA, CIS, and Access Control, and are well-versed in managing internal and external contractors, we want to hear from you!
Role Overview:
As an Installation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing internal and external contractors working on the Edinburgh Waverley SISS project. This includes managing the installation and maintenance of critical railway station systems, with a particular focus on CCTV. You will be based in the Edinburgh/Glasgow area and will work closely with the project team to ensure the timely and efficient completion of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the installation and maintenance activities of internal and external contractors.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and report on project status.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on railway station systems, with a strong focus on CCTV.
- Maintain a strong understanding of CDM regulations and ensure their implementation on-site.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role, essential within a railway environment.
- Previous experience with railway SISS projects, including CCTV, PA, CIS, and Access Control.
- Knowledge and strong understanding of CDM regulations (Construction (Design and Management) Regulations).
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to start work ASAP and commit to a 6-12 month contract.
