Main Responsibilities

* The projects will be for the pharmaceutical industry, and will range from Concept Design to Execution Design
* Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for managing engineering projects for your respective discipline with the support of the head office Engineering and Design team
* These projects will range from Concept Design to Execution Design, through Construction, Commissioning and then handover to Operations
* You have experience and are able to manage a portfolio of projects
* You will be responsible for managing and completing your projects within budget and planning.
* This includes change control and consistency of the Electrical design with the other disciplines
* Experience in Laboratory design, especially low voltage building services, distribution, small power and lighting
* You are responsible for the quality of the Electrical design
* You will participate in internal and external design reviews, and you are responsible for the design acceptance by the client
* Make independent decisions on issues, providing expert technical support within Electrical Engineering

Experience & Qualifications

* More than 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in an Engineering / EPCM / EPC company, in one of the below mentioned sectors
* Deep knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Design, with extensive experience in Electrical and Earthing especially low voltage building services, distribution, small power and lighting Sound multidiscipline engineering knowledge
* HND / BSc / BEng / MSc in Engineering (Electrical or Building Services Preferred)
* Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (Preferred)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Essential
* Result oriented. You are only satisfied if you complete a project profitably, all invoices are paid, you delivered top quality and the client is very satisfied with your employers performance
* You plan and organize your project before you allow your team to start spending hours. You have a 'one time right' mentality
* You have experience implementing a solid change control procedure in your projects, and with your entrepreneurial and negotiation skills you come to a solution that is good for both the client and employer
* You are capable and confident being in front of internal and external clients acting as the authority for our client
* You can develop and effectively present design packages to the client, ensuring it meets the scope of the job
* You are able to chair design review meetings
