Job description
The primary goal of the Transformational Manager is to lead the organisation towards growth, innovation, and improved performance whilst preparing for change.
Reporting to the country Business Director, you will manage a new phase of development by focusing on driving cultural changes within the organisation which comes along with the significant development of the group's activities in the UK.
The Transformation Manager's main responsibilities will be articulated around the following major topics:
- Design and implement changes & deliver an ambitious plan of transformation of the project based on cultural change, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Pilot and improve the performance of the project & perform a successful change / transition.
- Contribute to the implementation of the companies new operating model in the UK by fostering synergies between projects whilst taking part to associated business development and tendering activities.
Skills & Background
Management skills:
▬ Significant experience in a general management position in an operating company
▬ Demonstrable evidence of designing and implementing successful innovative solutions to complex problems
▬ Capability to manage a profit centre and the associated workforce
▬ Significant and demonstrable experience in leading cultural change in complex environments, with many stakeholders
▬ Demonstrated success with customer contractual and relationship management (including liaising with Government authorities)
▬ Strategical acumen with the experience of implementing long-term vision in fast-paced environment
▬ Problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
▬ Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, stakeholders, and external partners.
▬ Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Technical skills:
▬ Knowledge of highway safety obligations, practices and regulations
▬ Knowledge of highway long term asset management services, including pavement and structures would be well regarded
Business development Skills:
▬ Ability to convey a professional image of the company and build trust within the company
▬ Ability to promote a sustainable partnership with the client and the stakeholders
▬ Ability to promote the services of the company on a global scale
▬ Demonstrable success in developing and implementing new business initiatives
Educational Background:
▬ Master's degree in business management, operations management, or a related field or equivalent gained through work experience
