ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Programme Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Operations at the Slovenia facility.

The primary objective of this role is to enhance transparency and provide clear guidance throughout the organization regarding the goals and timelines of our programs. You will simplify complex ideas, plans, and actions, making them accessible and understandable to all stakeholders. Your role will involve influencing and aligning the business, including its cross-functional divisions, with a determined drive to meet ambitious targets. In this capacity, you will help set the tone for an engineering-focused business.

This position requires a bachelor's degree or relevant experience, and proven experience in the field of Electric Vehicles. You should be familiar with various concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. While you may rely on limited experience and judgement, your responsibilities will include planning and achieving goals, as well as leading and directing team members. Creativity and latitude in decision-making are expected.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the management of designated projects, ensuring the fulfilment of agreed objectives, including revenue, timelines, and deliverables. You will be responsible for guiding a project from its inception to completion and raising issues as they arise.
  • Provide support for initial feasibility assessments, validation of quotations, and the development of project budgets and timelines for plant-based activities.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, with a focus on successful completion and approval.
  • Follow established business processes to facilitate program delivery and identify areas for improvement. You will also play a key role in change management.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will possess automotive project management experience and strong leadership skills. You should have a proven track record in managing key objectives, ensuring on-time and high-quality task completion. Direct experience in product development at an OEM or Tier 1 company is a significant advantage.

  • A deep passion for the automotive industry, particularly in the field of Autonomous and Zero Emission Vehicles.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver high-value turnkey projects.
  • Proficiency in creating comprehensive development plans from concept to production, complete with associated gateways and KPI trackers. You should also excel in maintaining timing and cost plans.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end vehicle design and development process.
  • Strong project management and planning skills.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Motivational management and leadership skills.
  • Competence in scoping, project management, and delivering all aspects of vehicle development and delivery.
  • Diplomacy, analytics, numeracy, organisation, technical expertise, and proficiency in IT tools (Microsoft Teams, Office, Task Management/Knowledge Management Software such as JIRA/Confluence, etc.).

EDUCATION

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Certification in Programme Management Professional (PMP), AGILE, or PRINCE II is a plus.
