My client are offering an exciting opportunity to join a large international consultancy as an Associate Geotechnical Engineer/Director. They are looking in either London, Manchester or Motherwell.

Job description

Experience:

* Understanding of various difficult ground conditions around the UK
* 15+ years of experience in being technically strong in ground engineering
* Must come from a consulting background
* Strong mentorship skills
* Demonstrable experience in providing and leading on client solutions on various projects
* Someone who has design build experience would be highly preferable

Knowledge:

* Geo5 technical software - preference is they have this understanding of geotechnical engineering would then lead into being able to use this software

Qualifications

* Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology
* Masters in Geotechnical engineering is an advantage
* Must be chartered with Geological Society or MMMI (Mining minerals or Materials Institute)
* Ideally someone who is registered with ROGEP - ideally advisor grade (professional register for ground engineering professionals)
