EC&I Supervisor
Warrington - UK Wide travel
Permanent Position
£50,000to £60,000
Immediate start available

Duties
Designing, implementing, maintaining and improving electrical products and systems. Preparing detailed E&I design deliverables e.g., circuit and schematic diagrams, control panel layouts, MCC layouts, cable routes etc.
Supervising the E&I project installation phase.
Assisting with plant commissioning and validation

Primary Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Site Manager to help to ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Liaise with the Electrical Project Engineer to produce Electrical Installation Specifications.
- Day to day management of site sub-contract labour.
- Review technical drawings and distribute information to electrical installation supervisors.
- Manage the storage and safe distribution of:
· Installation Materials
· Instrumentation
- Liaise with CAD engineer to document proposed routing of cable containment for client approval.
- Liaise with the Electrical Project Engineer to produce installation planning documents, then monitor and
record installation progress against them.
- Identify and correctly install instrumentation from design package, advising the mechanical installation
team of best installation practises. For, but not limited to:
· Magnetic flowmeters
· Coriolis flowmeters
· Pressure transmitters
· Temperature transmitters
- Ensure that all electrical requirements of the design package, issued at the start of the installation, are
met.
- Prepare site commissioning file, complete with construction status electrical drawings.
- Assist with power up procedure once installation is complete.
- Assist sub-contractors with I/O testing and process commissioning support.
- Assist the client with power up procedure once installation is complete.
- Liaise with the Electrical Project Engineer to provide technical solutions to any issues raised onsite with the installation.

Preferred Background
- Experience with instrumentation applications including but not limited to: flow, level, pressure,
temperature, weight and analytical systems.
- Experience managing sub-contract labour for large projects.
- A good understanding of electrical and P&I drawings.
- A good understanding of the beverage industries including all relevant regulations and certifications.
- Experience with hazardous area applications, zoning, calculations but especially installation of wiring
systems.
- A good understanding of control bus systems, AS-i and industrial Ethernet networks.

Qualifications
HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with relevant industry experience.
