My client is a Global leader in Semiconductors in Bristol and they are looking for a SENIOR ENGINEERING MANAGER
They are looking for someone who can lead, empower and motivate a large team of over 70 engineers and will be looking after the lifecycle of the product from concept to customer commissioning.
Other responsibilities;

Strategy
Integration of other divisional strategic initiatives such as modularity, distributed Manaufacturing and Digitalisation.
We are looking for a BUSINESS LEADER who can Drive customer success,
Improve Business results and who Takes responsibility and accountablity
who will focus on team success and drive collaboration and commit to sustainable growth.
The right candidate for this amazing role will;
- Inspire, direct, motivate lead a team
- create strategy for innovation
- strategy for product development
- projects correctly scoped and aligned
- Time to market and product delivery
- management of resources
- governance of technical deliverables
- collaboration with divisional teams
- Provide direction and close alignment with manufacturing teams
- Manage product costs and divisional targets
Engineering Technical or Design Degree (MUST HAVE)
Masters (preferred)
CHartered Engineer status (MUST HAVE)
- proven Engineering manager with demonstrable experience of delivering progress via Design management and project
- Manufacturing background
- Global engineering company experience
- Experience of leading and coaching large complex teams
- experience of organisational change management
- continuous improvement and have demonstrable experience of making a difference.
We are looking for excellent influencing and negotiation skills at multiple organisational levels and Clear leadership
You will need to hold people accountable and set the standard and have experience coaching others
You must have Budget management experience and be Well organised, good at problem solving, planning, be calm under-pressure, have strong technical knowledge and be a great communicator,
The role is BASED IN CLEVEDON
There will be TRAVEL NEEDED in the UK and Globally
Hybrid working is a possibility.
