Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct design checking on metallic and composite parts for the A350 step 9 work package.
2. Utilize expertise in composite and metallic part checking, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
3. Exercise previously held delegated authority in the design checking process.
4. Work proficiently with Catia V5 and the Composite Workbench Tool for design verification.
5. Utilize experience with VPM (Virtual Product Model) and PASS-SSI tools in the design checking work flow.
6. Apply knowledge of Airbus methodologies and processes to ensure alignment with industry standards.
7. Preferred experience with previous A350 projects and specific spar experience (Front or Rear).

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in checking composite and metallic parts in an aerospace engineering context.
2. Previous delegated authority in design checking is mandatory.
3. Proficient in using Catia V5 and the Composite Workbench Tool.
4. Experience with VPM and PASS-SSI tools.
5. Familiarity with Airbus methodologies and processes.
6. Preferred previous experience with A350 projects.
7. Preferred experience with spar components (Front or Rear).

Additional Information:
This is an urgent-start, one-year duration position offering a competitive rate of up to £42 per hour (Outside IR35). Candidates must be eligible for BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance.
