Job description
Title: Cyber Security Engineer / Architect
Location: Warrington and West Lakes (Lake District)
Salary: Up to £85,000 depending on experience
There is a requirement to get SC Clearance (Sole British nationals) due to the nature of the work being undertaken.
We are working with a market leading, global Consultancy who dominate in the Critical National Infrastructure, Nuclear and Energy space. They are growing their Cyber Security function and are looking for individuals with OT Cyber experience to join their Cyber Security and System Security Engineering team.
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will work on a range of projects for our diverse client portfolio that covers Critical National Infrastructure, National Security, Defence and Nuclear market sectors.
You will have the opportunity to work across multiple market sectors to suit your interests and career aspirations under a hybrid working arrangement that best suits each client's needs. Training and development opportunities specific to the project needs, the role and those of your own career plan will be available and supported by the company and team.
You will need experience working in/with one of the following:
- ICS, SCADA and Operational Technology environments
Typical activities that you would undertake include:
- Supporting the development of security requirements, architectures, and designs for complex systems.
- Supporting the definition of cyber security assessment approaches.
- Execution of a robust security risk management process adhering to defined processes.
- Supporting accreditation activities with the client and regulating authorities.
- Conducting security reviews and audits in accordance with defined processes.
- Conducting security operations, including Protective Monitoring, Incident Management, Incident Response, and Incident Recovery activities.
