Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee and lead projects within the water sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. As a Project Manager in the water sector, you will play a crucial role in implementing water infrastructure projects, optimizing water resource management, and contributing to environmental conservation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets for water-related projects.
  2. Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and contractors to ensure project success.
  3. Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying and addressing potential issues and risks.
  4. Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and regulatory compliance.
  5. Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality results.
  6. Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and community stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure project alignment with their needs and expectations.
  7. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to oversee project activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  8. Prepare and deliver project status reports and presentations to senior management and clients.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Environmental Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  2. Proven experience in project management, specifically in water-related projects.
  3. Strong understanding of water infrastructure, water resource management, and environmental regulations.
  4. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  6. Proficient in project management tools and software.
