Job description

We are seeking to hire a Data Engineer to manage large-scale log platforms, processing billions of events daily for real-time operational and security monitoring, utilizing both third-party and proprietary technologies. Join our team as a Data Engineer:

What You Will Do:

• Onboard new data sources into the ecosystem, developing and maintaining efficient data pipelines for diverse log source types.
• Design and implement data parsing and transformation, collaborating with Security Analysts and Data owners.
• Ensure data quality standards, monitor data pipelines, and provide user support.
• Create and maintain content, visualizations, and documentation on supported platforms.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
• Proven experience in data management, data modeling, and SQL.
• Relevant certifications or technology work experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and system administration.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in both spoken Spanish and English.

A long-term contract with Matchtech is available for a project at a major financial institution.

The work model is hybrid, allowing for 3 days remote work and 2 days in the office, located in the Las Rozas area. Additionally, attractive salary conditions are offered.
