Job description
Weekday Night Shift 1800-0430
£28.00 - £35.00 per hour DOE
Nightshift Monday - Thursday 18:00 - 04:30
Grade 1 - Manual - £28.00 per hour
Grade 2 - Operator - £31.50 per hour
Grade 3 - Programmer (PC Dmis) - £35.00 per hour
Grade 1 must be capable of:
Strong manual inspection background using all metrology bench equipment
PC Literate with good working knowledge of MS Office Products
Team player with 'can do' attitude
Good oral and written communicator
Clear understanding of GD&T
Understand and follow written and oral instructions

Use of laser part marking equipment
PC Literate with good working knowledge of MS Office Products

Grade 2 Must be Capable of:
Operate/run pre-written CMM programs
Analyse detailed reports
Ensure calibrations procedure are adhered to

Competent using 6 & 7 axis scanning arms

Strong manual inspection background using a wide range of
metrology bench equipment i.e. Micrometers, vernier calipers,
bore mics, height gauges, vernier calipers, bore mics, height
gauges, slips, pins, DTI clocks, shadow graphs, thread gauges, spline
gauges etc.
Interpret engineering drawings
Grade 3 must be capable of:
Write advanced PC-Dmis programs (online & offline)
Create clear and detailed PC-Dmis reports
Build probes and create calibration programs
Analyse and solve issues with programs
Write advanced Polyworks programs for 7 axis scanning arms
Create clear and detailed Polyworks reports
Strong manual inspection background
Use of laser part marking equipment
Interpret engineering drawings
Advanced knowledge of GD&T
Understand and follow written and oral instructions
