Job description

As a Principal Developer, you will lead, coach and mentor a team of Software Engineers up to Senior level; and have authority on the design of software and strategy.

You won't be siloed in a discreet team, rather you'll engage with the wider department, stakeholders and customers to gather requirements and build technical specifications.

The key deliverables are to:

• Manage the design of services across software and web
• Lead the development and deployment of data pipelines
• Lead the design and development of analytics tools

And here's what you need to bring:

• Hands-on skills with Python and JavaScript
• Experience in designing software and web services
• Ability to manage projects and lead developers
• Effectiveness in building strategic relationships and communicating strategy

Hybrid working in Manchester offices.
