A laminator is required on a permanent basis in the marine industry in Berinsfield, my client is open to laminators from all industries.

Job description
Working in a team environment you will work on a range of my client's products. You will need to use your laminating skills to carry out the required workload to the lay-up specification for the boat manufacturing line.
Gel Coat application (hand gel and spray), Mould tool preparation and application of release systems. Hand laminating and knowledge of closed moulding techniques
Duties:
- Maintain and liaise with tooling prep team
- Prepare moulds for laminating and apply coat
- Use hand tools and identify laminating defects
- Use core materials and bonding pastes
- Release simple moulds
- Complete component tracking and related documentation
- Monitor and maintain tools and equipment
- Liaise with technical and quality department for improvement
- Maintain production facility in a clean and orderly state
- Adhere to health and safety policy and company procedures
- Use and store PPE correctly
Experience:
A thorough understanding of GRP laminating and associated processes including those mentioned above which may include trimming and grinding. Good understanding of quality processes, 2+ years' experience gained within the Marine, Aerospace, Automotive or other quality driven industry is preferable.
Salary: Dependant on level of experience matching the job duties
Benefits:

Competitive pension - in the first-year employee will contribute 4% same as the employer, after the first year the employee still contributes 4% but the employer will increase to 5%
