Introduction

Our client, a leading engineering company in the rail sector, is seeking experienced PTS Electricians to join their team. This is a contract role, where you will be responsible for the installation of containment, small power, cabling, lighting, and general electrical work as part of a major station upgrade project. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled electricians to contribute to an important infrastructure development in the rail industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out installation of containment, small power, cabling, lighting, and general electrical work
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Working closely with the project team to meet project deadlines
• Undertaking testing and inspection of electrical systems
• Troubleshooting and resolving electrical faults

Job Requirements

• Significant experience in electrical installation within the rail industry
• Hold current PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification
• Valid Electrician qualifications (e.g., Approved Electrician)
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations
