Job description

Our client, a leading Defence and Security company, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This is a contract position based in Govan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting manufacturing engineering activities within the Defence industry.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes.
• Identifying and resolving any manufacturing issues or inefficiencies.
• Contributing to the improvement of manufacturing methods and techniques.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Providing technical support and guidance to production teams.

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant engineering qualification or degree.
