Job description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Create Project Plans - o Developing concrete, detailed plans for projects, including the schedule, the budget and outlining the duties of team members.
o Identifying project goals and setting a timeline for the project.
o Collaborating closely with various teams and facilitating meetings to develop project plans.
o Presenting project plans to the PMO Director to review.
* Monitor Project Progress -
o Closely monitoring each project to ensure that projects remain on track, meet deadlines, stay within budget, and develop according to plan.
o Identifying project objectives, ensuring that they're met, escalating where necessary and offering solutions for potential problems.
* Report Project Results -
o Providing weekly update on project progress to the PMO Director.
o Once a project is complete, ensuring all project results are gathered, lessons learned documented and assist with presenting results to the leadership team.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Need to be detail-oriented multi-taskers.
* Great communication skills and are able to easily adapt to changing circumstances.
* Project management experience (Not required to be in a professional setting)
* Understanding project management methodology
* Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Report writing
* Planning DESIRABLE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
* Worked within multicultural / cross continent team environment
* Project Management Professional Certification
* Industry-specific experience
* Project management qualification
