Project Manager (Naval Architect)
Our client, a leading marine company, is seeking a skilled Naval Architectural Project Manager to join their team. As a Naval Architectural Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing marine projects, ensuring their successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee marine projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and schedules
- Lead and coordinate project activities, including design, engineering, procurement, and construction
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct regular project reviews and report project status to senior management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with customers, statutory authorities, surveyors, agents, suppliers, sub-contractors, etc,
- Manage resources to successfully complete projects on time and within budgets whilst maintaining safety and quality standards,
- Monitor progress and report,
- Manage tests and trials
- Develop and maintain systems to control projects.
Qualifications:
- BSc in Naval Architecture or related field
- MSc in Naval Architecture or related field (preferred)
- Professional certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP) are advantageous
Personal qualities:
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of small craft design and construction with either a production background or an appropriate degree qualification
- Fluent in the use of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation
- Positive and organised approach
- Self-motivated and flexible.
