Job description
We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a Commissioning Operator / General Engineer. Travel will be expected across the Southern Region at sites ranging from Hampshire, Sussex and Kent.
You will report directly to the Commissioning Manager to assist Commissioning & Construction teams with onsite investigations within our waste water team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide commissioning assistance to commissioning engineers
- Participate in continuous improvement both personal and company wide
- Be commercially aware, both internally and externally
- To assure effective documentation is completed within the site investigations.
- To work effectively with your colleague to ensure site investigations are conducted efficiently, effectively and within regulations.
- To continue to develop personally and technically.
- Participate in the acquisition and storing of business and technical knowledge, and the use of those stored intellectual assets.
- Maintain Health and Safety levels.
- Recognise that Health and Safety considerations are central to all tasks, and contribute to ensuring safe working environment for all.
- Report safety issues responsibly, and participate in improving practice.
About The Candidate
Essential:
- Commercial / Electrical or Mechanical background
- Wastewater experience
- Undertaken a similar role in the past
- Able to travel widely within region
- CSCS Card
