One of the most important Software Houses in the market is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their tech hub in Portugal. This person will help provide the necessary infrastructure for the development teams in support of their projects, setting up servers and services using IaC, and with a focus on automation. Main responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management and Provisioning

• Provision and manage infrastructure resources to support development, testing, and production environments.
• Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Configure and manage cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.

Deployment and Release Management

• Plan, execute, and monitor application deployments across different environments (development, testing, production).
• Develop and implement rollback strategies in case of deployment failures.
• Automate deployment processes wherever possible.

Monitoring and Observability

• Implement tools and processes to monitor application and infrastructure performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues proactively to maintain application uptime and stability.
• Gather and analyze logs to gain insights into system health and user behavior.

Security and Compliance

• Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Configure and manage access controls for infrastructure and applications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and standards.

Requirements

• 4-6 years' experience with DevOps processes and CI/CD tools
• Preferably proficient in C# and SQL databases, experience as a Software Developer is a plus (Java, Python)
• Experience with Cloud technologies, preferably Azure (AWS is also acceptable)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and the ability to set up and manage this environment
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code and tools such as ARM Templates or Terraform
